AUGUST 11 – SHOWTIME’s BILLIONS *Season 7 Premiere*

• In the final season of BILLIONS, alliances are turned on their heads. Old wounds are weaponized. Loyalties are tested. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become wary friends. And Bobby Axelrod returns, as the stakes grow from Wall Street to the world. BILLIONS follows a weekly release schedule, streaming Fridays, beginning August 11.

AUGUST 11 – ALICE, DARLING *Canadian Title*

• In the taut thriller ALICE, DARLING, Oscar® nominee Anna Kendrick stars as a woman pushed to the breaking point by her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Simon. While on vacation with two close girlfriends, Tess (Kaniehtiio Horn, LETTERKENNY) and Sophie, Alice rediscovers the essence of herself and gains some much-needed perspective. Slowly, she starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. But Simon’s vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering – and, once unleahsed, it tests Alice’s strength, her courage, and the bonds of her deep-rooted friendships. ALICE, DARLING streams Friday, Aug. 11.

AUGUST 13 – HBO’s TELEMARKETERS *Docuseries Premiere*

• HBO’s TELEMARKETERS chronicles the darkly comedic, unexpected 20-year journey of two unlikely office buddies, who stumble upon the murky truth behind the work they’ve been doing at a seedy New Jersey call centre persuading people to give money to charities, and vow to expose the crooked American telemarketing industry from within. With rowdy humour and dogged enthusiasm, TELEMARKETERS follows Sam and Pat as they emerge from the bottom rung of the hourly workforce to become tenacious, self-appointed whistleblowers who make their way to the halls of the United States Senate, determined to expose an industry gone awry from the inside. The three-part series premieres Sunday, Aug. 13 at 10 p.m. ET, with subsequent episodes dropping Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.

AUGUST 14 – FRAMING AGNES

• Agnes, the pioneering, pseudonymized, transgender woman who participated in Harold Garfinkel’s gender health research at UCLA in the 1960s, has long stood as a figurehead of trans history. In this rigorous cinematic exercise that blends fiction and nonfiction, director Chase Joynt explores where and how her platform has become a pigeonhole. FRAMING AGNES endeavors to widen the frame through which trans history is viewed — one that has remained too narrow to capture the multiplicity of experiences eclipsed by Agnes’. Through a collaborative practice of reimagination, an impressive lineup of trans stars take on vividly rendered, impeccably vintage reenactments, bringing to life groundbreaking artifacts of trans healthcare. FRAMING AGNES streams Monday, Aug. 14.
