“I’m excited to join the talented teams at CTV MORNING LIVE, TSN 1200, and 580 CFRA, and can’t wait to connect with viewers and listeners across this terrific city that I now call home,” said Burris. “The opportunity to pursue my passion for working in media is a dream come true, and I look forward to delving in to these new roles, while immersing myself in Ottawa news, community, and culture.”

“The qualities that made Henry a football champion – leadership, inspiration, motivational skills, and non-stop team work – make him a terrific addition to the Bell Media family," said Richard Gray, Vice-President and General Manager, Radio and TV, Ottawa, Eastern and Northern Ontario. “We are delighted to welcome Henry to CTV MORNING LIVE, TSN 1200, and 580 CFRA News Talk Radio, and to enriching our teams with his unique background and perspective.”

Born in Spiro, Oklahoma, Burris officially announced his retirement from football in January 2017, signing off on his 18-year CFL career that spans 1998 through 2016.
