He soon gets a shot at redemption when he becomes the basketball coach for his alma mater – but will it be enough to heal the deep wounds of his past?

• The all-new crime-drama series from STARZ, POWER BOOK II: GHOST, premieres Sunday, September 6. The story picks up shortly after the earth-shattering events of POWER (the acclaimed STARZ series which recently ended its six-season run) as Tariq St. Patrick grapples with a new world order: his father dead and his mother, Tasha, facing charges for the murder her son committed. Truly on his own for the first time in his life, and with no better options, Tariq turns to the familiar drug game, entangling himself with a cutthroat family headed by Monet Stewart Tejada (played by Grammy^®-winner Mary J. Blige). As Tariq tries to balance his drug operation with his grades, love life, and family, he figures out that the only way to avoid the same fate his father met is to become him — only better. The series stars Michael Rainey Jr. (Lee Daniels’ The Butler, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK), Naturi Naughton (Fame, THE CLIENT LIST), Method Man (THE WIRE, THE DEUCE), Paige Hurd (Beauty Shop, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS), Sherri Saum (THE FOSTERS, RESCUE ME), Justin Marcel McManus (STAR, SEARCH PARTY), Shalim Ortiz (HEROES, BALLERS), Gianni Paolo (Ma), and LaToya Tonodeo (THE OATH, THE FOSTERS).

What Critics Are Saying about SHOWTIME’s LOVE FRAUD

“The Addictive LOVE FRAUD May Steal TIGER KING’s Crown”

“LOVE FRAUD develops into a Midwestern Gothic, noirish tale of true crime using tightly composed shots that linger, surreal Terry Gilliam-esque interstitials, and a score that evokes a James Bond–level tale of slick charm and spurned-woman scorn. While full of increasingly outrageous reveals, it doles them out in a riveting slow burn.”

- Tracy Moore, Vanity Fair

“Showtime's deliciously fraught story of a love-touting con artist will keep you hooked for every minute.”

“LOVE FRAUD is a fantastic series built for anyone who has survived the last three years on social media. Where public and private persona start to meld further, the fallout is filled with lies, deception, and questions of whether we’ve really come that far in holding people accountable for their actions. Outside of that, it’s a deliciously fraught story — and you won’t want to miss a minute.”

- Kristen Lopez, IndieWire

“Once You Start Watching LOVE FRAUD, You Can’t Stop”

“LOVE FRAUD is a wild mix of Kill Bill, DIRTY JOHN, and CATFISH, with a dab of TO CATCH A PREDATOR thrown in for extra spice.”

- Jen Chaney, Vulture
