iHeartRadio’s CHUM 104.5 is launching new segments, contests, and programming to keep Torontonians entertained and informed during Covid-19. Morning, noon, and night, CHUM 104.5 is providing fun, new content designed to show gratitude and make the most out of days and nights at home.

• MARILYN DENIS & JAMAR is now extended from 5 a.m. – 10 a.m. The additional 9-10 a.m. hour features great conversations, lots of interaction with listeners, and brand-new contests.

• The CHUM Listener Benefit Program, a new online and on-air contest, gives listeners the chance to win daily prizes of $200 and be entered into the grand prize draw of $10,000.

• Also new is “Hey We’re Open”, where local businesses are encouraged to call in and promote how they are operating during this time. Visit the Shop the GTA page for more information. Marilyn and Jamar also unveiled “Breakfast Battle – All Ages Edition”, “Isolation Idol”, and expanded “Good News” and “What’s Trending with Caitlin Green” segments.

• Beginning at 9 p.m. every night, 104.5 plays a special pop mix while the CN Tower lights up blue to support front-line workers with the “Toronto Says Thank You” initiative in partnership with the CN Tower.

• On Fridays beginning at 8 p.m., JAMAR’S HOUSE PARTY is a two-hour live DJ set by Jamar on CHUM 104.5 and CHUM 104.5’s Instagram.

• Listeners are also able to call in and go online for “Shout Outs & Thank Yous”, to show appreciation for people making a difference in the community.
